🚗 ✈️ 🚆 🚌 **HEADING TO QUARTZSITE? HERE’S HOW TO GET THERE!**
Planning your trip to the **2027 Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show, January 15–23?** Whether you're arriving in your RV, flying across the country, or looking for an alternative way to travel, there are several ways to make your way to our little desert town!
**🚗 DRIVING OR RVING IN?**
Quartzsite is conveniently located along Interstate 10 in western Arizona, just 20 miles east of the California border.
- From Phoenix: Approximately 2 hours west on I-10.
- From Palm Springs: Approximately 2 hours east on I-10.
- From Los Angeles: Approximately 4 hours east on I-10.
- From Las Vegas: Approximately 3 hours south via US-95.
**TRAVEL TIP:** Traffic can get heavy during the opening weekend of the show, especially around the I-10 exits and showgrounds. Give yourself extra time, and remember that midweek is generally less crowded!
**✈️ PREFER TO FLY?**
Quartzsite doesn't have a commercial airport, but several airports make getting here relatively easy.
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX): Approximately 2 hours away, with plenty of flight and rental car options.
- Palm Springs International Airport (PSP): Approximately 2 hours away.
- Yuma International Airport (YUM): Approximately 1.5 hours away.
- Harry Reid International Airport (LAS): Approximately 3 hours away.
**TRAVEL TIP:** Phoenix typically offers the widest selection of flights and rental vehicles. Book your rental car early, as January is a busy season for Arizona tourism.
**🚆 WHAT ABOUT TAKING THE TRAIN?**
Amtrak doesn't have a passenger train station in Quartzsite, but rail travel can still be part of your journey!
Amtrak serves nearby regional destinations, including Yuma and Maricopa, Arizona. From there, you'll need to arrange a rental car or other transportation to Quartzsite.
**TRAVEL TIP:** Check train schedules carefully. Some routes operate only on certain days, and rental car availability at smaller stations can be limited.
**🚌 CAN YOU TAKE A BUS?**
Long-distance bus services can get you to regional transportation hubs such as Phoenix, Blythe, or Yuma, depending on the route and current schedules.
However, regular public transportation into Quartzsite is extremely limited, so you'll need to plan your final connection before leaving home.
**TRAVEL TIP:** Don't assume rideshare services like Uber or Lyft will be readily available in Quartzsite. Arrange transportation in advance! These services are scarce in Quartzsite.
**🏜️ A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE!**
- The Quartzsite RV Show offers **FREE admission and FREE parking!**
- There is no public overnight camping on the showgrounds.
- RVs, fifth wheels, and oversized vehicles cannot be accommodated in our main parking lot.
- Thousands of visitors take advantage of nearby BLM desert camping.
- The first four days of the show are typically our busiest, so consider visiting midweek for a more relaxed experience.
