ChatGPT is everywhere on Facebook right now, and I’ve always encouraged people to use it. I have trainings inside each of my 3 small business bootcamps with instructions on exactly how to use it.

I literally teach how to use ChatGPT in your business for things that actually move the needle… not just cute little caricatures for likes. 👀

And don’t get me wrong, that kind of stuff is fun.

But using ChatGPT only for that?

👉 That’s like buying a $5,000 commercial mixer just to stir your coffee. 😧

ChatGPT can:
• give you brilliant marketing ideas
• help you clarify your message
• help you execute faster when you’re wearing 17 hats
• save you hours when you’re already stretched thin

BUT.

Please hear this part.

When you use ChatGPT for copy… do not just copy + paste.

There are tells.
Lots of them.

ChatGPT has:
• a certain cadence
• specific transitions
• favorite phrases
• those dramatic em dashes — that real humans do not casually use like that
• “And honestly…”
• “You are not broken.”
• Here’s the truth”
• Here’s the kicker”
• rhetorical question stacks

If you use ChatGPT a lot, you can spot it immediately.😵

But the bigger issue is your audience will start to feel it too.

They may not be able to name it yet, but eventually they’ll feel:
“This doesn’t sound like her.”
“This feels generic.”
“This doesn’t feel from the heart.”

And that’s how trust for you and your business erodes.

Not because you used AI, but because it feels like you didn’t talk to them.

The magic is this:
👉 The more you talk with ChatGPT, the more it learns your voice (but it will never be human)
👉 So you need to go back through and humanize it.

Add your tone.
Your rhythm.
Your opinions.
Your imperfections.

For the record, yes, I’m using ChatGPT right now.

I’m dictating my thoughts, and I’m asking it to lightly clean things up in case I rambled.

The ideas are mine.
The words are mine.
The heart is mine.
I went back through and added my spin.

ChatGPT is a tool.
But it’s not human.

Add your own human touch or people will see you as being inauthentic 💗✨

This is what will make your content work for you and get you follows, visibilty, and yes - sales.

Chase excitement. Not trends. Not “what everyone says you should do.”

Excitement isn’t a luxury.
It’s a strategy. 💖
Chase your own excitement (that irresistible butterfly feeling).

Excitement will get you out of bed every morning, ready to go. Excitement will inspire you.

People say “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Because excitement is the fuel.
It’s what makes you show up consistently.
It’s what makes your ideas flow.
It’s what makes content feel easy instead of forced.
It’s what will speak to your ideal customer.

And here’s the Marketing 101 truth:

When you’re genuinely excited about what you do, your words sound alive.
Your energy is contagious.
Your content stops feeling like “content” and starts feeling like you.

That’s how you attract the right people.
That’s how your audience grows naturally.
That’s how visibility builds.
And money? That becomes the side effect.

If you’re bored, your audience will be too.
If you’re lit up, they’ll feel it.

Instead of constantly changing your business to chase trends, let your business set the trend. That little butterfly feeling you get when something lights you up? That’s your intuition. That’s the direction your brand is meant to go.

When you follow what genuinely excites you, your content flows, your message gets clearer, and the right people find you. For example, you don’t need to make teal things just because teal is trending. If your soul (and your brand) is pink then what you want is long-term customers who love pink. Chasing trends will bring trend-shoppers. Following your excitement brings your people.

And your people are the ones who build real momentum, real loyalty, and real success.💗

Most people aren’t stuck because they have a bad product.

They’re stuck because they’re building without a strategy.

Real visibility and growth happens when you:
✔️ get clear on your niche
✔️ understand who you’re actually selling to as a person (not an audience, more on this later)
✔️ align your branding with that buyer
✔️ use marketing that does the selling for you
✔️ pick the right platform
✔️ and grow an audience that’s ready to buy, not just watch

If you want your business to feel more intentional (and less exhausting), start with strategy.
Everything else gets easier once that foundation is in place

Okay friends, let’s talk CHRISTMAS CONTENT. 🎄✨

This is honestly one of the easiest seasons of the entire year to grow your page, but only if you’re posting the kind of content that actually reaches new people instead of just the same circle you already talk to.

Holiday content is naturally high-engagement, because people love to give opinions about decorations, traditions, nostalgia, colors, and cozy little moments.

❤️ Engagement = visibility
💬 Comments are weighted even higher than likes
🔁 Shares are the gold mine

And posts that spark curiosity or conversation get pushed out farther in Facebook’s algorithm

So the more your posts make people stop, react, comment, laugh, reminisce, or choose a side…
the more Facebook says:

“Oh, people LIKE this!”
and boosts it to hundreds (or thousands) more eyes.

And THAT is how you grow your page.
Not by posting into the void, but by posting things that naturally invite people to talk back.

Now… these are just lightweight, freebie ideas to get your wheels turning.

My paid students inside the bootcamps get full frameworks, strategy walkthroughs, and done-for-you content packs that match these styles, plus 6 months of Canva content templates they can drop their own colors, fonts, and business details into.

Think of this list as the appetizer.
Inside the bootcamps, I give you the entrée, the dessert, the silverware, and the cute little menu card. 😂💗

But because I like helping handmade sellers grow their pages, here are a few mini content ideas you can try this week to bring in some fresh eyes:

⭐ 1. A “Show What You’re Loving” Post

Share ONE Christmas decor item you think is amazing but that gets overlooked: a color, a product, a theme. Ask them what item they think is overlooked.

⭐ 2. The “Holiday Setup Sneak Peek”

Take a picture of one part of your holiday décor. Blur it or do it super close up. Ask them to guess what it is.

Curiosity = engagement

⭐ 3. A Simple Gift Guide

Create a quick “5 gifts under $25” list for your specific ideal customer.
(Inside the bootcamps I teach you how to figure out who your ideal customer is so you know how they think and know how to get their attention).

⭐ 4. A Holiday Hack

Share one holiday shortcut or “why didn’t I know this sooner?” tip your audience would appreciate.

👉Hacks get SAVES and SHARES

⭐ 5. Behind-the-Scenes Content

Show your supplies, color palette, what’s on your table, what’s shipping out today, etc.
People LOVE peeking behind the curtain.

⭐ 6. A Holiday Memory

Share one nostalgic holiday story that shaped your style or personality today.
Sentimental posts perform well in December.

⭐ 7. A Simple Open-Ended Question

These are your “easy win” engagement boosters:
– “What color wins Christmas for you this year?”
– “Do you decorate early or late?”
– “What’s your most underrated holiday decoration?”

Not controversial… just fun and irresistible to answer.

⭐ 8. Teach Something Tiny

Share one thing most people don’t know about your type of product during the holidays. Tutorials for BEGINNERS are winners.
Short. Sweet. Shareable.

⭐ 9. Create a Holiday Mood Board

Choose 4–6 inspiration photos and collage them.
Inspirational Mood boards get saved constantly.

⭐ 10. Run a Simple Poll

Polls are incredible for visibility, especially in December:
– Real or artificial tree?
– White lights or multicolor?
– Gingerbread theme or Nutcracker theme?

Facebook LOVES polls because people can vote with zero effort.

✨ These are easy, low-pressure post ideas that can help you:
✔ Wake up your page
✔ Reach beyond your current “bubble”
✔ Get more engagement
✔ Attract new followers
✔ And start warming people into future buyers

Your job this month is not perfection, it’s visibility.

And if you’re one of my bootcamp students, you already know:
💗 You get frameworks
💗 You get my content system
💗 You get post formulas
💗 And you get done-for-you Canva content based on ideas like these (so you don’t have to write a thing from scratch)

But even if you’re not there yet, these mini ideas will help you start building momentum.

Okay, which one are you going to try first this week? 👇💬
Tell me below so I can cheer you on!

One last tip: ALWAYS include a picture on your post. Never just text!!

Most small business owners think they have to please everyone. But the truth? Chasing the wrong people can cost you way more than you’ll ever make from them.

Your copy (any text or words you use to describe your item or sale) should always ONLY appeal to your dream customer - someone who buys everything you offer, leaves 5 star feedback, and supports you in front of others. That’s who you need to speak to.

👉Your words and your offers matter because they can attract the opposite of your dream customer.

Case in point: I had a crazy deal on clay and sure enough the 3 horsewomen of the small business apocalypse showed up. More on them in a second…but you have to be careful with selling your items too cheaply.

Now don’t get me wrong; there’s nothing wrong with a Bargain Hunter. We love bargain hunters. They’re the ones who get excited about bundles, grab a discount code, or stock up when you run a sale. And here’s the thing: Bargain Hunters are buyers. They actually purchase.

But… you have to be careful about offering things too cheaply. Because cheap-cheap-cheap? That’s the mating call of The Cheapskate.🐦

Here’s what I mean:

The other day, I needed to clear out some clay I’d accidentally over-ordered. I had like four dozen bags sitting there, and I knew I’d never go through them all before they went bad. Since I wasn’t planning to restock, I marked them down to $5 a bag just to move them fast.

Now, if I were planning on keeping clay in my shop, that would have been a terrible idea; commoditizing a product, racing to the bottom, and killing your margins is a fast-track to burnout. But this was a one-time clearance, so it’s fine.

Except… it attracted Cheapskates.

One woman complained that the shipping cost more than the product. She absolutely could not wrap her head around it. These bags are heavy - a pound each - and USPS doesn’t care if the item was $5, $15, or free. The weight is the weight.

I even said: “So… would you rather I charge you $15 per bag so that the shipping feels ‘cheaper’?” 🤦‍♀️

This is exactly what happens when you price too low. The cheapskates show up - and they nitpick, complain, and make the entire experience miserable. Meanwhile, your real dream customers are happy to pay for value and don’t bat an eye at shipping math.

🌪️ And this brings me to the three horsewomen of the small business apocalypse:

🐴 Cheapskates - They want champagne results on a dollar-store budget. Favorite line: “Can you do it cheaper?”
🐴 Tire Kickers - They circle, question, and ghost harder than your ex. Favorite line: “I’ll think about it…”
🐴 Freebie Seekers - They grab every free thing you offer, but never buy. Never engage with you online. Never even share your posts (which is free). You give and they take and take and take. Favorite line: “Do you have a free version?”

✨Moral of the story:✨ Bargain hunters are fine. They’re real buyers. But the horsewomen? Bless and release. Your dream customers will buy, stay, and actually value your work.

You have to post every day to get sales and be successful.

MYTH: If you just post more, the sales will come.

TRUTH: If the content isn’t strategic, consistent, and aligned with your brand, you’re just making noise.

Posting every day without a plan is like handing out business cards in the dark, in a room crowded with people all throwing their business card too.

Better plan? Post less, with purpose - and watch what happens.

You don't need MORE posts. You need STRATEGIC posts. (We map this out in the Content Bootcamp if you’re ready.)

And the best part? I've already made the content for you. 6+ months of posts designed specifically for handmade business owners to boost visibility and sales.

Posting daily doesn’t work unless your posts are working FOR YOU.
You need a strategy - not a streak.

It’s better to post 3 strong, on-brand, magnetic posts a week than 7 rushed ones.

Consistency + clarity > volume.

Focus on what moves the needle—not what burns you out.

Success begins at the end of your comfort zone.

I know it can be easy as a business owner to slip into habits... but if you are doing the same things for your marketing but aren't where you want to be, then what you're doing isn't working for you. It may be time to switch things up.

You're like, really pretty.(and if you can't quote Mean Girls to me, we can't be friends).

MYTH: Good products sell themselves.
REALITY: So does toilet paper, but Charmin still has a marketing plan.
Let’s get real for a sec. I know you’ve poured your heart into your handmade or supply product. You’ve picked the perfect colors, made it high quality, even packaged it like a dream. But if nobody knows about it? Nobody buys it. Period.
Having a great product is important—but it’s not enough.
Visibility is what sells. Messaging is what sells. Emotional connection is what sells.
Think about your favorite brand. Is it the absolute best thing in the world? Probably not. But they knew how to market it—and now you love it, remember it, and maybe even talk about it.
You don’t need a million followers. You need a message that sticks and a strategy that repeats.
You have to show up, speak up, and sell—strategically.
So no, your product won’t magically go viral sitting quietly in your shop like a wallflower.
But with the right content, confidence, and call-to-actions?
You’ll turn that wallflower into the belle of the checkout cart.

Cold audience = cold sales.
If someone found your business page today - with zero context, no warm-up, no prior exposure - what would they see?

Would they instantly know:
Who your product is for?
What your product even is?
Where they can buy it?
Whether it’s legit or just another cute idea floating around Facebook?
If you are trustworthy, consistent, and worth following?

Because here’s the truth:
Most small business pages are built to talk to warm audiences—people who already know you, love you, or have bought before.
But new people?
They’re just confused.

If a stranger lands on your page and can’t figure out what you sell, why it matters, or how to buy it… you’ve got a cold page feeding you cold sales.

Your product isn’t the problem. It’s what people see when they find you.
Let’s change that.
