If you’re getting compliments but not consistent sales, chances are it isn’t your product that’s holding you back.

It’s that the same people keep seeing your posts over and over.

The handmade community is only so big. If your audience is mostly other crafters, you’re all competing for the same customers.

The good news? Marketing is a skill, not a talent. And it’s something you can learn.

That’s exactly why I created my Bootcamp series.
✨ Branding Bootcamp teaches you how to create a recognizable brand that stands out instead of blending into a crowded newsfeed.
📱 Marketing Bootcamp gives you six months of customizable, done-for-you marketing posts designed to help you sell without wondering what to post every day.
🎥 Reels Bootcamp shows you the same strategy I used to get your products in front of people who've never seen your business before. I'll show you the exact reels structure I use so you can get your business in front of people who’ve never heard of you before.

If you’re ready to stop hoping customers find you and start learning how to attract them, all three Bootcamps are on sale right now.

One of the biggest mistakes I see handmade businesses make is that they’re marketing almost exclusively to… other makers.

If you’re a wreath maker, fake baker, tumbler artist, 3D printer, or any other creative business, ask yourself this:

Who is actually seeing your posts?

If it’s mostly other artists, they’ll probably admire your work. They’ll comment. They’ll share. They’ll even save it for inspiration.

But here’s the problem…

They can make it too.

Likes don’t necessarily turn into sales.

That doesn’t mean other artists are a bad audience. It just means you need a business model that matches your audience.

For example:

✨ Sell the supplies they need to make it.
✨ Sell the tutorial or digital files so they can recreate it.
✨ Or intentionally market outside the maker community to people who can’t make what you make and would rather buy it finished.

The exception is when you’ve built such a strong personal brand that people buy because it’s yours. I’ve absolutely purchased from artists whose work I could recreate myself, simply because I admired them and wanted to support their business.

But if your goal is selling finished products, don’t confuse applause with customers.

A thousand makers telling you, “That’s beautiful!” isn’t the same as one non-maker saying, “How much?”

That’s exactly why I created my Branding, Marketing & Audience Building Bootcamp Bundle.

Because making beautiful products is only half the equation.

The other half is learning how to position yourself, attract the right audience, build a recognizable brand, and create content that turns followers into customers instead of just collecting compliments.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re getting plenty of engagement but not enough sales, this bundle was designed for you.

10 Ways to Build Consistency

1.Post one piece of content every day. It doesn’t have to be perfect. *But stay within your niche so you don’t end up with a dead audience

2.Reply to every comment and message. Relationships build businesses.

3.Spend a few minutes learning something new. Marketing, photography, AI, 3D printing, branding; even small improvements compound.

4.Create one new product or improve one existing one each week. Tiny upgrades add up.

5.Invite people to buy. Don’t assume they know what you sell. Make offers consistently.

6.Show your work in progress. People love seeing behind the scenes, not just finished products.

7.Grow your email list. Even one new subscriber a day becomes hundreds over a year.

8. Celebrate customer wins. Share reviews, photos, and success stories to build trust.

9.Do one task you’ve been avoiding. Send the email. Fix the listing. Update the website. Momentum matters.

10. Keep showing up, even when engagement is low. The people who succeed are usually the ones who didn’t quit during the quiet seasons.

🚨Stop Devaluing your Business and Racing to the Bottom by only Competing on Price 🚨

One of the biggest mistakes I see new business owners make is accidentally turning their products into commodities.

A commodity is something that customers see as interchangeable.

Think paper towels, bottled water, printer paper, or even certain craft supplies. Sometimes I even see people who make things by hand turn their product into a commodity by treating it that way.

When customers see products as commodities, they don’t ask:

✨ Who made this?
✨ Why is it special?
✨ What’s the story behind it?

Instead, they ask:

💰 Which one is the cheapest?

And that’s a dangerous place to be.

Because there will ALWAYS be someone willing to go lower.

Someone willing to work for less.

Someone willing to cut corners.

Someone willing to sacrifice quality.

That’s what we call a race to the bottom.

Can people make money selling commodities?

Absolutely.

But commodity businesses typically rely on MASSIVE volume and very small profit margins.

Most small business owners don’t have the scale, budget, or infrastructure to compete that way.

So instead, shift your focus to creating value.

Differentiate by competing on:

✨ Uniqueness
✨ Branding
✨ Customer experience
✨ Creativity
✨ Customization
✨ Convenience
✨ Expertise
✨ Community
✨ Storytelling
✨ Relationships & Trust

People don’t buy luxury handbags because they need something to carry their keys.

They buy the experience, the identity, the quality, and the brand.

The same principle applies whether you’re selling handmade products, digital products, services, coaching, or 3D prints.

Ask yourself:

“What would make someone choose me even if I’m not the cheapest option?”

That’s where the real money is.

Because the goal isn’t to be cheaper than everyone else.

The goal is to be different enough and adding enough value so that price stops being the deciding factor.

Myth: Content is content. Just post anything.

Nope.

Your content is what calls your people to you.

Every post is teaching your audience who you are, what you do, and whether or not you’re someone they should follow. That’s why random content can actually hurt your marketing.

If you run a crafting business, but suddenly your page is full of unrelated questions, random trends, and posts that have nothing to do with crafting, you’re muddying your message.

People followed you for a reason.

They followed because they’re interested in what you create, what you teach, what you sell, or the problem you help solve.

That doesn’t mean every post has to be a sales post. It does mean your content should connect back to your brand.

Ask questions that relate to your niche.

Share stories that support your message.

Create content that attracts the people most likely to become customers.

The goal isn’t to get attention from everyone.

The goal is to attract the right people and make them think:

“These are my people.”

That’s when marketing starts working.

Effective marketing should both attract your ideal customer and repel people who are not a good fit. That might sound backwards, but if you are marketing to everyone you are marketing to no one.

We can talk more about why repelling people is one of the best things you can do for your business later.

For now, brainstorm by asking yourself: What questions do my customers ask all the time? What mistakes do beginners make? What products or services do I want to be known for? What problems does my business solve? Make those into reels and posts with graphics and that is a great start to your marketing.

Fabulous Friday is here…

and today is about discovering people worth watching.

Let’s make this about YOU

Tell us what you create. Show off your work. Drop your pages, shops, and platforms so we can see what you’ve got going on.
Take a few minutes to scroll. Follow a few people who catch your eye.

If you connect with someone, let them know. A simple “Followed” goes a long way.

If you have something specific for sale, make your own post and show us what you can do. This is how people start recognizing your name and your work.

This is your space to be seen, to grow, and to connect with people who actually care about what you’re creating.

Let’s make it a good one. Drop your links!

Your logo is not your brand.

It’s your brand’s face.

Imagine meeting someone for the first time.

Their face matters.

It’s the first thing you notice.

But the reason you become friends isn’t because of their face.

It’s their personality.
Their values.
Their communication.

Branding works the same way.

Your logo is the face.

Your brand voice is the personality.

Your values are what people connect with.

Your marketing is the conversation.

When all of those pieces work together, people remember you.

When they don’t, even a beautiful logo struggles to help make sales.

So here's something to think about: brand is: If I removed your logo today, what would people still remember about your business? What are you known for?

That's your brand.
