Along this journey, one principle has guided our work: testing the model in real contexts.

Not from theory, but through concrete action.

GA4SI has validated its approach through professional volunteer initiatives, supporting people and organizations facing urgent social challenges across diverse contexts:

– Collaboration strategies with international NGOs working with women survivors of human trafficking.
– Educational projects in Angola supporting schools for girls and adolescents at risk of early marriage and educational exclusion.
– Local development initiatives in sustainable tourism, environment, public services, and territorial development.
– Methodological support for joint research projects between Harvard and MIT, linked to MIT Sloan.
– Early-stage startup advisory, helping founders structure, validate, and demonstrate traction.
– Support for migrants identifying sustainable self-employment and business models.

These pilot experiences confirmed something essential:
The GA4SI model works!
Matching talent with real challenges is viable—and scalable.

Today, this learning allows us to move forward.
GA4SI is developing a web platform with intelligent matching to connect local challenges with global talent, scaling impact across cities and sectors.

Because when talent connects with purpose, impact becomes inevitable.

Hello, I’m Karla España, Founder and Director of Strategy & Innovation at GA4SI – Global Approach for Social Innovation.
GA4SI was born at the Stavros Niarchos Library in the heart of New York City, in response to a powerful reality: highly skilled professionals whose talent was underutilized.
Today, we are a volunteer-based community that activates untapped talent to incubate and develop social innovation ideas in and from New York City.
🚀 With this launch, we officially open ImpactLab, a space to:
• Talk about social innovation
• Share our methodology
• Connect talent with purpose
• Build solutions with real impact
