I've been slacking with my recording tips! here's a good one.. Guitarists, Make sure your guitars are properly set-up. Thats making sure the intonation is set and everything is working as it should. And c'mon.. splurge a few bucks and get some new strings!

Tip: save yourself money and time in the studio. Make sure you have song structures down, and bpms figured out in advance!

Tip: drummers, when recording, hit your cymbals like they are glass and your drums like you want to kill them. Your drums will shine in the overheads and create a sonically better drum mix
