🏡 Little Ditty about Jack and Anita! Two American kids growing up In the heartland!! 🏡

The fun! The jokes! The laughing! The stories! And again new lifelong friendships we made on this trip!

Amanda and I had several road trips to Kirskville the past two weeks to get Jack and Miss Anita packed and ready for the big move 2.5 hours away!

Jack built this amazing house 30+ years ago for his beautiful family. Of course it was very emotional for them to watch their dream home getting packed, so Amanda and I did our best to lighten the mood. Yesterday, I captured this sweet picture of them taking a break on their new back porch! Even only knowing them for a short time, this picture touched me!

The memories they are going to make in the new house are going to be wonderful! And we can’t wait to hear about them! We have been invited for many visits this summer and we of course will be there!

I again, thank My partner Amanda for her hard work, dedication and love! And of course to the DBI crew for their outstanding power, strength, patience, respect and professionalism they always have!

A month ago we got a call from a gentleman in Belleville, IL who was referred to us by a local resident here in Quincy. Of course his first question was, “ Do you travel? I need help and I can’t get anyone in this area to even travel 20 minutes across the bridge to come help!” Of course our answer was yes!

A little back story. This gentlemen Recently became a single father of 4 adoptive darling little girls. 3 of which have special needs. He needed help at the new place to tame the chaos from moving and make a cozy functional home for the little ones! To work with him and see the determination, patience, strength, and unconditional love he has was something amazing!

So, last weekend we headed his way! Only scheduled to stay 2 days but because of the holiday weekend, we stayed an extra day and finished as much as we could! We went through all the clothes, and arranged all the closets with the right sizes! Went through all the toys and organized them! Arranged the entire pantry area. Re did the girls rooms. Built furniture, rearranged furniture. Got rid of furniture! Went through every “doom box!” Took 4 loads to storage unit.

We still have a little more to do, but we sure nailed it with what we could get to! I’m so happy with the ending results, and even more excited for him and his sweet babies!! 🩷💜💖💛

~ No laughing at me in the superwomen cape! Lol! I came out of one of the bedrooms and had that on and he had to get a picture! Later, I realized I didn’t take a before picture of that angle of the room so I’m using his picture as a before!! Proves we do have fun though! 😂

As rewarding as it is to see the ending result of our jobs, the BEST PART is leaving with wonderful, amazing new lifelong friends!

This weekend we finished another big out of town move! And again, I couldn’t me more happy with my partner Amanda and sidekicks DBI for how amazing everything went! It truly makes a difference when everyone on your team works as hard and well together as we all do!

Text messages like this, and the big hug I received today makes every second worth it!

⭐️⭐️ Another BIG Job complete! Our client moved here a year ago, and unfortunately did not have the best packing/moving experience. So we very clearly made it our mission to give her the best experience with this move! Not only did we get the house packed up and moved, we were able to get a few rooms unpacked at the new house! Packing/ Moving is stressful so let us take that burden off your shoulders! We love what we do, and we love even more to see the relief on our clients faces!! 😊😊

🙌🙌There is a First time for everything! And we did that this past weekend! We successfully moved a client from Quincy to Texas! 953 miles! Everything went smoothly and we had an amazing time!! We wish our client the best of luck with her new adventure in Texas!! 🙌🙌
