Disability Pride Flag Series: Red Stripe – Physical Disabilities

💓The red stripe on the Disability Pride Flag honors individuals with physical disabilities—conditions that affect mobility, strength, endurance, dexterity, or physical functioning.

Physical disabilities may be visible or invisible, and each person’s experience is unique.

How You Can Show Support:
-Keep accessible spaces clear and usable.
-Advocate for accessibility in buildings and community spaces.
-Ask before offering assistance and respect independence.
-Recognize mobility aids as tools that promote freedom and inclusion.

If you or a loved one is interested in a mobility aid, peer support, or advocacy, call Society’s Assets at 262-637-9128.

Let’s celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of people with physical disabilities.
