Meet Dave Gill, our incredible Director of Engineering at DeltaHawk. We're not just proud to have him on our team because of his exceptional skills and dedication; we're also honored to recognize his service in the Royal Air Force Auxiliary Regiment – 2503 Squadron. Dave describes his time in the service; "During my early career I joined the Royal Air Force Auxiliary Regiment, No. 2503 (County of Lincoln), following the 1982 Falklands War. This is a reserve squadron based at RAF Waddington, in Lincolnshire UK, made up of ex-regulars from within the RAF Regiment, Royal Anglian Army Regiment and volunteers from with a 50 miles radius surrounding RAF Waddington. The squadrons’ role is a dismounted close-combat force protection. As a member of the squadron, I went through basic training and became a Leading Aircraftsman involved in several NATO based exercises tasked with airfield perimeter guard duty for the 6 AWACS planes based full time at RAF Waddington through that time period." His journey from military service to engineering excellence is truly inspiring! We appreciate all that he has done for our military allies and the wisdom he brings into our workplace every day. Thank you, Dave!
