Reliable infrastructure upgrades demand detailed engineering and disciplined ex*****on. Tangibl supported a utility-led effort to convert transformer supply from 34.5kV to 69kV at an indoor substation serving a dense urban area, where space constraints, system coordination, and operational continuity were critical.
Our work included detailed substation engineering design, construction-ready drawings, protection and control modernization, and telecommunications integration. Legacy electromechanical relays were replaced with microprocessor-based systems, primary equipment was upgraded, and fiber optic communications were designed to support reliable substation-to-substation coordination.
This project demonstrates how comprehensive engineering and documentation enable utilities to modernize aging infrastructure while maintaining safety, reliability, and system performance in complex environments.
