Wondering why the photos of Anthony aren't up to par? Well, that's bc Anthony can't take pictures of his own presentation. And bc I gave my phone to Carley and well, she got real creative with her amateur photography skills 🫠😅
A couple weeks ago — yes, late again — we heard from Anthony Torres and Kristen Lattimore of Anthony S. Torres Photography and MovementX respectively.
Anthony showed off some of his latest work - which included Kristen's photo shoot - and information on the charity he works closely with: So Many Angels.
Kristen's presentation got personal: she gave us a scenario of a woman in her 40s with an achy back and going to a Dr. vs going to in-network PT vs going to Kristen. (I feel personally attacked 😂😅) Kristen enjoys helping people on a personal level; no rotating door of patients in n out. The dry needling is ... effective and not for the faint of heart lol

Haven't been this tardy to the party in a while! May 28, our merchant services provider, Mike Shaw of Tactical Merchant Solutions presented giving us insight on what I'm sure had to do with compliance and saving businesses money on CC processing. (I was out sick so I'm going off of what I know about these awesome gents!). Travis Wilborn of Agility Benefits, our group benefits provider presented some proud papa moments — ask him about his boy and baseball, but set aside at least an hour lol. Agility Benefits works closely with the rest of our insurance team members to ensure you, your business, and your employees are getting the best representation, at the best rate. Yet again, we had two of our newest members present and RAISE THE BAR for our established members. (Gonna throw some credit to our mentor coordinators Scott and Kyle as well, getting them rockin and rollin on the way to BNI success!) Jake Hessler of Natural Restoration - our very own "BNI legacy" member (his dad Tom is in RD05) - gave us the introductory presentation of who Natural Restoration is and why they stand out amongst other restoration companies, both in the Triangle and across the state. As the name would suggest, Natural Restoration takes a natural approach to ridding your home or office of mold and nasty odors.
Kate Davis of Life Path Legal - a locally owned family law firm based in Cary - introduced us to what makes her tick, why she chose to partner with Life Path Legal and what her role is with the firm. Kate has a passion for helping people, community, and business owners in the Triangle and we're very lucky to have her in our group!

I've been busy, okay? Jeez...
For The Mother of All Visitors Days, we hosted a whopping 54 bodies zooming around networking and being their best professional selves.
In our usual fashion, we took this time to host a panel with Mark Armstrong, Trinity French, and Anthony S. Torres, MC'd by David Mansfield; with Mother's Day in mind, panel questions were themed around BNI’s core values of growth, nurturing relationships, and long-term commitment.
Did we nail it? Of course we did.

Last week we heard from two exterior experts: Jonathan "JBuff" Buff of MosquitoNix North Raleigh - one of only 3 locations in the state - and Lyle Morris of ERS Construction - one of the Triangle's fastest growing General Contractors.
JBuff gave us the overview of the services provided, with a strong highlight on the permanent misting system (my favorite!!).
Lyle provided an update on the evolution of ERS Construction - starting as a roofing company, to decks, to gaining his GC license, to interior remodeling projects - all while never leaving the foundation which the company was built: kaizen, communication, and integrity.
