8/20 we proved our resilience, strength, and many of the reasons we're the best BNI in North Raleigh! With ongoing HVAC maintenance at our usual meeting spot, we secured a temporary meeting space (thank you 🤩), curated a lunch menu, and assigned roles to bring it all together!
On this super fabulous A/C day, we heard from a couple members of our B2B team: Kirstyn M. Yancy of TMS Digital and Dylan Willis of Venture Law.
This was Dylan's first presentation since returning to our great group and he had a bit of new information about Venture so we could be (re)introduced to the locally-owned commercial firm. After the (re)introduction, we played a bit of legal trivia and candy! It was about 50-50 for the crowd answering correctly - all the more proof to hire an attorney!!
Kirstyn shared some embarrassing photos while informing us all the while about what search engines REALLY care about. What they're really *hungry* for. Guess what? It's not AI-generated content. hungry, EEAT... see, we made a [very bad] joke. 😅😂

8/13, we held our 3rd Visitors Day of the year and when we say we're the hottest BNI in the Triangle, that day, we truly were 😅
There was a bit of an HVAC malfunction and our resilient group made it work.
We heard from one member of each Power Team: Scott Ball, Nidhi Mathson, and Kyle Mendenhall of Scott Ball Heath, Equitable Advisors, and The Practical Mortgage Solution respectively.
With questions geared toward building relationships — our theme being family reunion — we heard from the members how BNI has helped them grow professionally and personally.

Shake your money makers! And 8/6, we did just that: John Sweeney of Fidelity Bank and Nidhi Mathson of Equitable Advisors brought us all sorts of financial literacy goodness.
Sweeney is our commercial banker, helping small business owners secure loans and LOCs for their fleets, office spaces, and of course, business accounts.

On 7/30, we heard from Hershal with Triangle Commercial Real Estate and Mo Tinani of Heating + Air Paramedics.
Hershal presented a market update, shared his favorite closings, peacocked a bit (all great industry leaders should to showcase their strengths!), and told us his best referral partners: residential realtors, property managers, and most professionals in the B2B world. "If you want commercial, call Hershal."
Mo Tinani, owner of the North Raleigh location of Heating + Air Paramedics presented on his ever-evolving business. Mo prides himself on losing the corporate feel and focusing his efforts on making sure the customer feels appreciated. "If your HVAC's feeling pathetic, call the Paramedics."

July 30, we heard from two real estate bada**es - Adryin Glynn of Adryin Glynn Designs and Stefan Smith of True Plumbing.
Adryin Glynn has been a member of BNI for right around 10 years now and is a rockstar residential (and light commercial) interior designer for the Greater Triangle Area. Got a big job in Charlotte? Hit her up; she may want to hear about it...

Stefan gave us a plumbing update - yay for pipes lol - we talked about water heaters and the pros and cons and if you're on the bougie side, then yeah, you may want to spring for that tankless. Or if you have a bigger family. Tankless has a higher upfront, and a lower ticket over time.

For our B2B Focus Day, we highlighted Dylan Willis of Venture Law, Mike Shaw of Tactical Merchant Solutions, and Heather Phillips of Triangle Business Solutions.
With a backyard BBQ theme, our emcee, David MMansfield of Mansfield Computing asked our panelists to answer questions like "If your business was the main dish at the grill this summer, what ‘secret sauce’ has BNI added that has helped it stand out?”
