These are the moments that I work so hard for!!
Co-parenting daily already presents its own set of challenges. Then to throw in trying to have both parent equally involved in their child's education can add another layer to the co-parenting challenge.

For a child to be whole and successful it is important to communicate with all stakeholders in a child's life. The goal is for the child to see everyone working as a team and for his/her best interest(education).

Educators: You are at the crossroad were Thanksgiving break can't get here fast enough and winter break is not within reach.

This is the season to create some Project Base Learning lessons (PBL) for your unit. This allows your students to learn their objectives with support from other students. In addition to conducting research with professionals within the topic. You now become the facilitator. PBL allows students to become actively engaged in their learning and make it personal.

I know what about the few students that seem to not be connecting with any objectives. This is the perfect time to connect with them. Spend time chatting with them and find out what sparks their interest. It is there, I promise!!
Now dig deep and connect it to your standards.

The month of October is vital for your child if they are looking to attend any level of college after graduation. The application process has open up for The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

There is rich value in completing this process.
FAFSA PROVIDES opportunities other than educational loans.. and that part is what most parents fail to realize.

Hey Educators,
Did you know that the majority of your students guardians actually do care about how their child's education/behavior? Did you also know that the method of communication you are using might not be their preference?

Take a few minutes over the course of the week and send a quick email, text or call. Telling them that you wanted to touch bases and determine their best method of communication.

Some guardians prefer the traditional "newsletter" method.

You never know until you ask, it might just make a difference.
