Eleven years ago, a team in the local government in Australia, started an initiative to advocate for a world free of plastic waste. What began as a local and regional effort has become an award-winning, international campaign working to create a world without plastic.

Plastic Free July, a key initiative of the Plastic Free Foundation, is a month-long challenge to find solutions to plastic waste. Keeping plastic off of our sidewalks and out of our waterways is integral to reducing the carbon footprint of humankind. We invite you to live intentionally this July and imagine a world without plastic waste.
