We’re excited to share that Key Environmental Consulting has been selected to support the City of Charlotte’s Landscape Management Division on an initiative that involves expanding street tree planting in neighborhoods.

Our work will focus on engaging with communities to identify new street tree planting locations across Charlotte to help:
• Expand tree canopy
• Reduce urban heat
• Improve air quality
• Support stormwater management
• Strengthen neighborhood resilience

We’re excited to contribute to Charlotte’s ongoing investment in nature-based solutions, green infrastructure, and healthier communities.

We look forward to working alongside community leaders and residents to help bring this effort to life.

We’re excited to announce that Durham County has selected Key Environmental Consulting, in partnership with Planning4Health Solutions ( ), to lead the development of a comprehensive Food System Assessment and 10-Year Strategic Plan.

The project will examine how food is produced, distributed, and accessed across the county, and will recommend strategies to strengthen local food networks, improve coordination among partners, and enhance long-term community .

We are excited to contribute to a vision that honors both and insight.
