Congratulations to three outstanding team members celebrating significant anniversaries with Sunstates Security! Happy five-year anniversary to David Rosser, who oversees site operations for a national client across many states, and Mike Reidy, who continues to expand our client base throughout the greater New York City area. Great things are happening across our Cincinnati region as our teams continue to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to safety, training, and service excellence. At a new medical facility in Michigan, officers recently completed Handle With Care training, while team members at an automotive manufacturing plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana, enjoyed an appreciation pizza lunch hosted by Senior Operations Manager Rob Allen.

We are also proud to celebrate three team members who went above and beyond in their daily duties. Regional Director Jeff Sisson presented Supervisor Tori Shearer with a Sunstates Challenge Coin in recognition of the outstanding professionalism and empathy she demonstrated while handling a sensitive employee situation. In addition, Officer Jonathan Forker and Officer Dustin Fields each received appreciation cards, Officer Forker for locating and recovering client inventory marked lost during his patrol rounds, and Officer Fields for identifying an empty fire extinguisher and promptly resolving a serious safety hazard.

We are proud to celebrate Officer Donald Grills as Orlando’s Officer of the Quarter for his proactive response and sharp ex*****on during emergency drills (pictured with Site Supervisor Mark Fritsche). Speaking of Mark, congratulations to Mark Fritsche as well for completing Tiers 1–3 of our Leadership Candidate Program to advance his leadership development. Designed to prepare employees for continued growth and future leadership opportunities, the program is one way Sunstates invests in our people and sets them up for long-term career success. Mark’s completion of all three tiers reflects the drive he has invested in his development and readiness for greater responsibilities.

Finally, kudos to Officer Jeson Lima for earning an Outstanding Officer Award after stepping up as a trusted shift lead and maintaining top-tier service at a prestigious gated community. His awareness helped identify individuals previously banned from the property attempting to regain access; additionally, he covered open shifts, assisted teammates, and took on additional responsibilities.

Sunstates Security is seeking a qualified Full-Time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a client site in Charlotte, NC. The Schedule is Monday - Thursday 4PM - 2AM. The position offers a pay rate of $24.88/ HR - paid weekly. Candidates must have a valid EMT license to be considered.

** $500 upon successful completion of two weeks of EMT training. And another $500 after 6 months of employment, pending review and approval by the Account Manager and Nurse.

Position Summary
The EMT is responsible for providing emergency medical response, supporting site safety and security operations, and assisting with incident management in accordance with Sunstates Security policies and client requirements.


Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care to injured or ill individuals.
- Assess injuries and determine appropriate treatment and response procedures.
- Coordinate and assist with patient transportation to medical facilities when necessary.
- Respond to medical emergencies and requests for assistance.
- Deliver emergency care within the scope of EMT certification.
- Follow site-specific safety, security, and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct routine and random patrols of the facility and surrounding property.
- Complete required documentation, including Daily Activity Logs and Incident Reports.
- Report all medical incidents, accidents, and emergencies accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a professional presence while providing exceptional customer service.
