Today at 12:00 noon, a dedicated team from the Northern Wake Fire Department, City of Raleigh, Wake Forest Fire, and Durham Highway Fire responded to a reported house fire on Pine Cove Court.

Upon arrival, our members encountered a significant amount of smoke from the chimney. Thanks to their hard work and, we were able to extinguish the fire and keep it contained to the chimney area.

At Northern Wake, we embrace the “lines off, ladders up” mentality, and today’s incident showcased this proactive approach, leading to another positive outcome. Great work!

Reminder: If you have a wood-burning chimney, please remember to clean it regularly to prevent dangerous situations like this one! Stay safe!
