🔥 WE’RE HIRING IN CHARLOTTE! 🔥
Welding & Equipment Service Technician
📍 Charlotte, NC
💰 $27–$33/hour, based on experience
Are you a welder/fabricator who can do more than just weld? Do you know your way around tools, piping, pumps, mechanical equipment, and troubleshooting?
We’re looking for someone who likes to build things, fix things, figure things out, and get their hands dirty.
This position is approximately 75–80% welding and fabrication, primarily at our Charlotte facility. The other 20–25% will involve installing, repairing, replacing, and troubleshooting bulk cooking oil filtration equipment at customer locations.
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
• Welding and fabricating frames, brackets, tanks, supports, piping components, and equipment
• Cutting, fitting, measuring, assembling, modifying, and repairing metal components
• Installing pumps, piping, hoses, valves, fittings, tanks, and filtration systems
• Troubleshooting mechanical and plumbing issues
• Repairing or replacing pumps, hoses, valves, seals, fittings, and other components
• Completing equipment installations and service calls throughout the Charlotte area
• Using your mechanical skills to actually diagnose problems instead of just swapping parts
✅ What we’re looking for:
• 2+ years of professional welding and fabrication experience
• 2+ years of plumbing experience
• 2+ years of mechanical installation and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with pumps, piping, hoses, valves, fittings, or similar mechanical systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to measure, cut, fit, fabricate, and repair accurately
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. and working in physically demanding environments
🎓 Welding certification is preferred, but NOT required. If you have the hands-on experience and can demonstrate that you know what you’re doing, we want to talk to you!
⏰ Schedule:
Generally Monday–Friday. Most days fall somewhere around 8 AM–5 PM, but this is not a strict 8-to-5 job. Depending on fabrication projects, service calls, and workload, employees should expect 10–12 hour workdays at times, including earlier starts, later finishes, and overtime when needed.
🚚 Travel:
Occasional travel throughout the Charlotte region and surrounding areas, up to approximately 2 hours from Charlotte as needed. A company service vehicle, tools, and equipment are provided.
If you’re the kind of person who can look at something that’s broken and immediately start thinking, “Alright… how do I fix this?” — we’d love to hear from you.
