When’s the last time you were intentional about dating your audience?
Don’t let this go over your head!
On average, it takes 6-7 touches for a curious follower to buy into whatever it is you’re selling.
If you want the relationship to grow, you betta nurture the connection from the start.
Here’s what I mean...
👋🏾 Say hello to new followers. Yep, slide into their dms!
👀 Take a look at their page, like AND COMMENT on a few posts, genuinely. Like, really find something that resonates with you and engage with them.
☺️ Compliments go a long way! “Hey sis! Your makeup is flawless!”
❓Ask them a question. Find out what they do and inquire a bit.
🤯 Find a clever way to add value. For instance, if they post something that says, “My workload is crazy” offer a helpful solution. It doesn’t have to be specific to a product or service that you offer, just help out your fellow digital warrior.
🤑Lastly, seize the opportunity to introduce them to a product or service that you offer. “Sis, that pink dress you wore the other day was fiyah. I immediately thought these gold earrings belong in your jewelry case the next time you pop out in that dress.” Insert pic!
👂🏾 Listen, you didn’t marry your husband on the first date, so I don’t know how you expect a follower to covert to a buyer without a little courting!
Not everyone will convert, but everyone WILL remember you if you put in a little effort!
Remember: It’s about the possibility of a thing!
