I just published the second installment of my “Why Fear DEIB?” blog series. In Part 2 – I explain what the “E” – equity – really is and is not, and how it is different from equality. Treating everyone exactly the same is not equity, and frankly does not work. Link to blog: https://www.totalengagementconsulting.com/blog/2026/08/why-fear-deib-part-2-explaining-the-e-equity/

I just published a new blog titled “Jim Crow is Returning to North Carolina” about the Republican dominated legislature doing all they can to make it more difficult for our Black citizens (and now also college student) to vote. I also call on all North Carolinians who claim to be Christians and/or believe in true democracy to keep this in mind when they vote. I just published a new blog, “I am sick and tired of being demonized.” I write about how the North Carolina Republican-dominated legislature is wasting time over one parent’s complaint about LGBTQ-themed books in a school library. Then I continue to discuss many of the divisive and nasty anti-LGBTQ+ laws are being passed by other state legislatures, and why it is important to focus on this when you vote. Link to blog:
