one of the best things i've done in my business has been to hire a business coach who has kept me accountable to what i say i'm going to do. i'm great at doing this for my clients, but it's often hard to do it when it's your own business. and taking a step back to really take a look at your own business and your own goals is the only way you're going to have sustainable growth.⁠

Tech overwhelm is a thing. And it's a thing I talk to a lot of clients about. There are always newer platforms coming out that promise to be the solution to all your business woes. (hint, unfortunately, it's not that simple).⁠
⁠
But having a team member on your team, like a VA, who has intimate knowledge of many platforms can help you in many ways.⁠
⁠
- Setting up and managing your CRM⁠
- Setting up and managing your scheduling software⁠
- Making website content updates⁠
- Setting up & managing your social media scheduler⁠
- Researching and recommending the best software for you⁠

This means you're not having to dedicate your time to learning or choosing these platforms. And you're not the one having to manage it on a day-to-day basis.⁠

what is better than a sustainable, repeatable system? okay, well maybe oreos. (if you know me, you know my love of oreos, gluten free specifically). but back to the point ...⁠

in business, what's better than a sustainable, repeatable system? in my opinion, not a whole lot. these systems help our businesses to run smoother and allow us to devote our brain capacity to other things that need our attention.⁠
⁠
one thing we love to do for clients is getting those systems set up so that they are easily repeatable. you probably know that staying in front of your ideal clients is a great way to book clients. and one way to do that is through events, like webinars.⁠
⁠
as virtual assistant, we can help you set up a system to make them a breeze. from setting up event registrations, to creating email promotions that are based on a template you write (so everything still matches your voice), to updating your website with all the needed information, to promoting on social media.⁠
⁠
then after the event, we can post your recording to YouTube so you can offer limited replays to those who weren't able to attend live, and even caption those videos for accessibility. ⁠

if you notice, your VA can do all of that, so that your focus is just on delivering stellar content and connecting with your ideal clients. that's where the money is ... and why you got into business in the first place, to talk about what you love to do and connect with the people who need you.⁠

Ever find yourself, head in hands overwhelmed with *looks around* all the things you want (and need!) to do in your business. I mean, the list feels like it could go on and on.⁠

As a fellow business owner, I get it. I mean, I often feel the same way. But you don't need to (and definitely don't have to) do it alone.⁠
⁠
For the first several years it was just me, myself, and I working with clients. And not until I worked with my first business coach, did I really understand that investing in others in my business, would actually help me to get to the next level.⁠
⁠
So, you're at that stage now. You know you need help to grow ... but where do you start⁠?⁠
⁠
1) Track your time. Your time is so valuable - so knowing where you are spending it is key.⁠ ⏳
⁠
2) Create a list of all those things you're doing. Tracking your time will help you create this list.⁠📋
⁠
3) Figure out which of those things you're doing, you don't need to be doing. *hint: you likely only really need to be doing the things that are directly related to making money / service-delivery.⁠💰
