Tomorrow, October 4, we will gather for the memorial service honoring my spiritual godmother, Rosa Lee Cooper Lester, my beloved Momma Rosa. I am honored to share personal memories of the seeds of wisdom she planted in me and celebrate the legacy of love, kindness, and service she leaves in the lives of so many.

As we worked with our hands, shared stories, and learned from each other, we built a bond I will always treasure. Those moments became part of the beautiful tapestry of our relationship.

Momma Rosa didn't just talk about helping people. She found a way to help. Her love and wisdom will continue to grow in my heart, and her legacy will live forever in the hearts of those she touched through the seeds she planted along her journey.
