✨ Staff Spotlight: Jonathan Gooden, RN, CCM,
Medical Case Manager ✨

👨‍⚕️ Background & Career
Jonathan earned his Associate Degree in Nursing from Bladen Community College in Bladen County, NC. He began his nursing career in Labor & Delivery before spending 10 years as the Medical Manager at the world's largest pork processing facility, overseeing the internal medical clinic and workers' compensation program. For the past five years, he's been focused on full-time medical case management.

Last week our Raleigh office staff had the opportunity to volunteer with WARM Cafe, a non-profit focused on reducing food insecurity by providing meals for those in need. They are working towards opening Wake Forest's first pay-what-you-can cafe, and in the meantime they partner with other local organizations weekly to prepare and serve healthy and delicious meals to dozens of folks in need.

We had such a wonderful time every step of the way and are thankful we had the opportunity to support such an important mission! Check out WARM Cafe's website at warmcafe.org to learn more and consider supporting them today!

We've got a long-time CCM case manager retiring this week!

We'd like to give a special shout out to Margaret Costello, whose last day with CCM is today. Margaret has worked in Nursing for nearly 50 years, and has been providing case management services for Workers' Compensation claims since 1990. She is a superstar Case Manager and has been part of the CCM family since 2003! We are sad to see her go, but so happy for her to begin her next chapter.

Margaret, thank you so much for all your hard work, loyalty and dedication over the years. We wish you much relaxation and happiness in retirement!
