Every North Carolinian deserves access to the health care they need, and we should be lowering costs for families, not making life harder. I joined Medicaid beneficiaries, rural health providers, and local leaders in Fayetteville to hear how the federal Medicaid cuts in H.R. 1 could affect their families, patients, and communities.
As many as 250,000 North Carolinians are at risk of losing their coverage, and rural hospitals and health care providers face even more financial pressure. I continue to urge Congress to reverse these cuts and protect access to care for North Carolinians.
