Saturday December 13, 2025 is Wreaths Across America day, and here at Hatfield Creek Winery & Vineyards, we have our wreath ready. At 1 p.m. we'll lay it at the Memorial at the site of the Navy jet crash. We're honoring Pilot instructor Vernon Thompson, and his student Dennis Cubbison, who both died here in 1961. This is the final resting place of Vern Thompson who was never recovered.

You are welcome to join us for the short walk and ceremony.
