Pests... they’re just like us. 😂

A woman dressed as a bumblebee. A bumblebee dressed as a woman.

At this point, we’re not sure who’s copying who.

Either way, October costume season is bringing out everybody’s alter ego.

The fun part is dressing like a pest.

The less fun part is when the real pests start showing up around your home looking for food, warmth, and a place to settle in.

Not every little red bug hanging around your house this fall is a true ladybug. In Minnesota, multicolored Asian lady beetles start showing up in a big way as temperatures cool down — and they love gathering on warm, sunny sides of homes before trying to sneak inside for the winter.
A few clues: 🐞 Their color can vary from yellow to orange to red 🐞 They can have many spots, a few spots, or none at all 🐞 The biggest giveaway? That signature black “M” marking behind the head
They may look harmless, but once they start showing up in large numbers, they can become a real nuisance fast.

October has officially gone off the rails.
The funny part? Fall pests really are trying to act a little too much like us right now. They want warmth, shelter and a cozy place to spend the season.

MEET GARY. 🕷️ Single. Eight-legged. Ready to mingle. Interests include dark basements, quiet corners and making grown adults yell words their children aren't supposed to hear. Fall is a common time for people to notice wandering spiders indoors. We respect Gary's journey. We would simply prefer he conduct it somewhere else.
