Dezzarae Henderson,M.A.,PHR-CA,SHRM-CP
Dezzarae Henderson is an experienced Human Resources professional. She has worked for major companies like Paychex, Inc., McDonald's Corp. In these roles, as manager, she combined her HR and business knowledge to help companies grow, develop talent, and implement strategies in highly competitive markets. As the HR Director of a non-profit, Dezzarae sat on the executive team and worked under the CEO on company strategies, employee benefits, and employee engagement. While operating in a union environment, she was instrumental in the negotiation and ratification of two local union contracts. Along with achieving company goals, Dezzarae was an adjunct professor for two private college institutions. She taught undergraduate and graduate courses primarily in the areas of management and human resources. Being recognized as a knowledgeable HR partner, she was asked to be a reviewer and writer for HRCI's (Human Resources Certification Institute) PHR exam for California. She has consulted for and trained leadership team all over Southern California in management and human resources topics. Dezzarae is a Southern California native. She graduated from Chapman University with her BS in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Management and she obtained her Master's degree from Azusa Pacific University in Human and Organizational Development. Dezzarae also holds three professional certifications.
