Stop the madness!!! I’m so tired! I’ve been reviewing resumes forever and most of them are not even close to being a good fit. When applying for jobs, please don’t make the following mistakes:
1. Don’t apply for something that’s way out of your league. It’s a waste of everyone’s time and clogs up the system.
2. If you include the company’s name in your cover letter and other communications, please be sure to change the company‘s name as you put in new applications. Applying to one company with the wrong company’s name is a complete turn off.
3. If you have a different job every year, tough it out a bit longer to put some time on your resume. Companies are not gonna want to take a risk on you if they see that you can’t stay employed.

Happy job hunting!

Part 3-interview feedbacks

If you start having discussion about an offer, be realistic and honest about what you want to make and what the possible calls for. Also, don’t expect to start at the top of the salary range.

if you don’t get the position but interviewed, don’t be afraid to ask what you could’ve done better and how you could improve. This could possibly be a game changer and help you in future interviews.

Be ready for your first day. Make sure that you understand the dress code and the work environment. Also arrive early.

I hope there tips help. Happy interviewing. Feel free to share your experiences and ask questions.

Part 2 of my interview tips!
Remember these key things when you’re interviewing:
1. Practice-have someone ask you questions while you practice responding. This preparation will help with the nerves so you won’t be as nervous and allows you to already have an idea of how you want to approach and answer questions so that your responses will be clear and concise.
2. Research the Company-no a little bit about the company before you go and interview. Also make sure you remember what position you’re interviewing for and be prepared to ask questions.
3. Do not badmouth your previous employers.
4. Don’t forget to send a thank you letter.

Part 1-Getting the interview.
It’s so important to be prepared and submit the right information to get the interview.
1. Have a strong resume and use key words (it doesn’t have to just be one page)
2. Do a have a letter if you want to take your initiative and really set your application apart from other candidates.
3. Research the position and the company to be prepared for your interview

Are you having a hard time getting in the door?
