We’re excited to introduce our Summer Intern, Dominic Pieretti, who will be working alongside the teams at Fowler Brothers Farming, Ag Land Partners, and American Almond Company this season.
Dominic is currently entering his junior year at California State University, Fresno, where he is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business with an emphasis in Operations Management. We’re excited to have him gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the agricultural industry while continuing to grow his passion for agriculture and business operations.
We asked Dominic a couple questions about his internship experience so far:
What originally attracted you to our company and this internship opportunity?
- “Something that caught my attention about Fowler is their American Advantage Program and how it gives growers an opportunity to save on new development costs. Also, this program collaborates with Fowlers two sister companies, Ag Land Partners and American Almond Company which I thought was great in creating a great example of vertical integration within the agriculture industry.”
What are you hoping to learn or gain from your time interning with us?
- “I’m hoping to gain more hands-on experience and to better understand how large agricultural operations are managed day to day. I want to learn more about decision-making in both farming operations and almond processing while also continuing to build skills that will help me in my future career.“
We’re excited to support the next generation of agricultural leaders and look forward to being part of Dominic’s growth and experience this summer.
