Home, and rejuvenated after our trip to Nationals in Illinois. It wasn’t our best show, but from every experience lessons are learned, and the motivation to get back out there and do it again is brewing! The boys handled the big trip well, and they sure looked beautiful doing their thing!
Thank you Hector Ladezma for taking impeccable care of Hartje and Belvie. Onward and upward!!

I cant read Danish, but Hartje’s breeder sent me this article. It’s so exciting to see such a thoughtful breeding program getting the recogition it deserves. And it’s so sweet to see pics of Harte (Heiline’s St Coeur) as a foal ❤️

So proud of Heiline’s St. Coeur (Hartje). Last weekend he did his first Prix St. George and received a 71%. Such a good boy!

Had a great weekend at Thermal This weekend with the boys. Royce won his PSG classes, while Belvedere and Hartje won their Fourth level classes.
Desert International Horse Park remains one of my favorite venues to compete at.
This was a low pressure show, so I used it as an opportunity to play around with some new things in the arena. It’s always great to take the young horses to such a big environment to give them confidence, and ride in front of top CDI judges to get their feedback.
We also took our newest addition to the barn, Magnum. My intention was to only school him as this was our first outing together, but on the last day decided to take him down centerline. He won his third level class with a 72.5%! At just 6, I couldn’t be more pleased.

On to the next show with this amazing group of horses. ❤️

Had a great weekend showing at Hits Del Mar. All the boys did great. Heiline’s St Coeur (Hartje) won his third level classes with scores up to 73%. Royal Discovery (Royce) did his first PSG and placed near the top with scores up to 72%. And Belvedere (Belvie) did his first Fourth level tests with scores up to 73%. So fun to develop these young talented horses. Can’t wait to keep improving and do it again!!

Had the opportunity to ride with Debbie McDonald this week at home in California. It was so good to catch up with her, and take advantage of her keen eye. Heatcliff took to the work beautifully. 😊
