Work Smarter, Not Harder with AI - Your Input Needed - Please Reply by May 20

Foundation for Manufacturing Excellence, the educational foundation for NIST MEP Centers, is launching a survey to better understand how small and mid-sized manufacturers (SMMs) are approaching Artificial Intelligence (AI) to learn where the greatest opportunities exist to improve profitability, productivity, and competitiveness.

As emerging technologies continue to reshape manufacturing, it is critical that adoption is both strategic and practical. Your insights will help identify real-world challenges, priorities, and high-impact use cases, ensuring future AI solutions are aligned with the needs of manufacturers.

Please take a few moments between today and May 20 to complete the survey; your responses will further the development of targeted AI service pathways.

Your feedback is needed! Help River Valley Tech Center (RVTC) shape their next entry level training program.

RVTC is seeking employer feedback on the first draft of their two-week, entry level training program set to pilot this summer: Intro to Advanced Manufacturing (a.k.a. "Job-Ready CNC Boot Camp").

Entry-level jobs in advanced manufacturing require levels of skills and knowledge that are nearly unparalleled in other industries. The RVTC “CNC Boot Camp” model has been developed to provide a combination of strong academic and theoretical components with “high-touch” experiential learning. New hires will experience the pressures of high precision/ high production manufacturing in a setting that is learner-centered rather than product-centered.

👉Please review the first DRAFT course syllabus then take a few moments to provide your feedback via the Boot Camp Pilot survey. Please note: The course weeks are confirmed for July 13 - 24; all other details in the syllabus are unconfirmed. Your feedback is important to make this pilot a reality!
