Deer and bear season have been off to a great start! Got a bunch of animals coming in, and I can't say thank you enough for the opportunity to preserve your trophies.
At the same time, cranking on my critters from last year. Hopefully the EHD stops soon.
Good luck everyone, more are drying and more getting mounted next week. Have a good weekend.
Shoot straight, and be safe!

Bear season is starting very soon. I'm only going to take a few in this year. If you are lucky enough to get one, and want it mounted, call me ASAP after the harvest.
I hope the picture below, helps you when skinning it for whatever mount you might have done.
It is SUPER important to take care of the hide as soon as you can. About 99% of hair slippage is caused by improper game care after the shot. The minute the animal dies, it starts to break down. The quality of the mount depends greatly on proper game care.
If you can, skin it immediately and get it into a walk in cooler or freezer. Please don't let it hang for days, or even worse, have it laying in your truck for days.
Good luck to everyone that has a tag this year, be safe and enjoy the experience.

More out the door this week. A few customers picked up two heads at once. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to do the work. More will be going home next week, and more projects underway. The season will be starting soon, and I will be posting game care tips beforehand. Thanks again to all my customers.

Happy Friday everyone. A few more, out the door. Poor Henry had such a big fight with his beautiful mountain brown, it put him in bandages! Lol. Tim gave me a trail cam photo and asked me to replicate it. This was a fun project, and a stud of a deer! Thanks to ALL my customers, and more are drying. Trying to crank everything out before it starts again.......it's going to be close!!!!
Have a great weekend everyone.

Haven't posted in a bit. I guess it's time to do an update, after getting asked about it recently. Bear, fish ,deer, and Tom's Tom cat went home. To all my customers, new and old THANK YOU really doesn't say enough. Remember, catch and release those big fish to help the future of the lake. Replicas have come a long way, and last forever. Thanks again,.... more to come!
