Tracy Spaans Photography & Design Unique, Creative and Affordable on-location photography. I have a contemporary photography style with an appreciation for tradition.

It's all about YOU but here's a little about me...
I studied photography and graphic design at Black Hills State University. I have been fortunate enough to be able to do both consistently since then and like to think my passion and skills have only grown over the years. I balance between a photojournalistic approach, capturing moments as they unfold and "creating" unique and beautiful images that will reflect your personalities and my creative style. I look forward to planning a session with you.

Bristol chose a mix of traditional outdoor senior portraits and commemorating a long and successful softball career. She absolutely rocked both of them. Congrats! Senior Class of 2027. "That's Ball Game."

"There's nothing like staying at home."
You've got to love a laidback & casual family shoot where you don't even have to leave home. We stepped into the Ginsbach's backyard and well.... you can see the rest. Family photos don't have to be hard. And with a family this cute, it sure makes my job easy!

Reserve Hat Co.
If you haven't checked out this new store on Main St. in Hill City, it's a must! They offer premium hats and all the accessories you can imagine. Professional shaping is available five days a week by Dalton who does a fantastic job. Shonna and Dalton helped me choose, shape and customize a hat to keep me looking sharp while I carry the state flag in the buffalo roundup. I chose a beautiful black felt Stetson, picked out a classy hatband and added a meaningful brand to make it my own.

Tonight is there grand opening and ribbon cutting and while I'm unfortunate enough to have to miss it, you should be there!

Check them out!

Jazzy understood the assignment. She was 100% her authentic self for her senior photos, bringing great ideas and a natural charm that no amount of editing can replicate. She's been anxiously waiting for a sneak peek.... and for good reason! Congrats Jazzy, senior class of 2027!

Meet Karson, Senior class of 2027!
Karson is an integral part of our HC football and basketball team, and also serves as a Junior firefighter for our local fire department. He's the kind of kid that makes a hometown proud. Congrats Karson! I hope this is your best year yet!
