I am an open book when it comes to sharing my experiences when asked and think it’s SO incredibly important to share the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to life.

This birth story has been something I’ve been wanting to share but you know…being vulnerable is HARD, but it’s a new year and I’m trying to step out of my comfort zone more.

It’s November & I’m officially back from maternity leave!

It has been amazing being able to spend quality time with my now family of 4 and while it is bitter sweet I am ready to get back into the swing of things and support my amazing clients!

November is also a jam packed month in our household but always something I look forward to.

Excited to welcome baby girl to the chaos! Was hoping to get these out before her arrival but she had other plans!

It’s been a while!

I promised a life update and it’s now been almost a month 😅 but that’s just how life goes sometimes!

I figured I’d reintroduce myself and share what life’s been looking like!

Almost 2 years ago I left my corporate 9-5 in pursuit of more freedom to be with family and do things that bring me joy! Shortly after starting this journey I found out we were having our first child which was divine timing! We sold our first home and moved to Virginia to be closer to family and plant some roots (we’ve moved quite a bit!)

Fast forward to today: I haven’t been actively posting on here as I tried to navigate a full client load and a 1 year old running around BUT I’ve missed the community and the people that I was able to connect with on here!

So while I may not be posting as much around my VA business, I am going to be sharing more about my life as a “crunchy” mom, entrepreneur, wife, animal mom (🐶🐱🐔) in hopes to continue to connect with other like-minded individuals near and far!

HELLO 2023!!

2022 was quite an amazing year!

✨I left my 9-5 and started my VA business
✨we bought a new house and moved to 19 acres of tranquility
✨brought our sweet boy into this world
✨ became and aunt and have another niece or nephew on the way!

So much can change in a single year - can’t wait to see what this year brings!

There are so many scenarios that could happen when starting a business or making changes to your current structure…but at what point are they limiting you from progressing forward?

Before taking my VA business full time I ran through every scenario of what could go wrong - but then shifted that perspective to; what could go right?

There will always be doubt. There will always be something that can go wrong. There will always be something that can be done better.

But that allows us to learn, grow and progress forward!

We are expecting our little man on the 17th (any day now!) so things may be a bit quiet on here while we transition from a house of 2 to 3…humans that is 🙃

Curious…how many of you took parental leave while operating your own business and for how long? 👇🏻👇🏻
