In communities across our country, the red poppy stands as a symbol of remembrance for the brave men and women who gave their lives in military service.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor their sacrifice, reflect with gratitude and remember the freedoms we enjoy because of their courage.

To the Class of 2026...

Congratulations! As graduation season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate ALL of the graduates across our communities and beyond. Whether you are heading to college, starting a career, joining the military, learning a trade or still discovering what comes next, this is a HUGE accomplishment you should be incredibly proud.

This week NCC had the honor of spotlighting our 2026 NCC Scholarship recipients. They are just one example of the amazing young people helping shape the future of our communities.

In observance of Memorial Day, NCC offices will be closed Monday, May 25th.

As we enjoy time with family and friends this weekend, we also pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Meet Maddix, our next 2026 NCC Kenneth Lund Jr. Scholarship recipient!

Familiar faces will always hold a special place at NCC, and Maddix is one of them. A former NCC work-study student, we loved having her as part of our team and are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in her journey.

After graduating from WSC this spring, Maddix plans to transfer to UND to purse a degree in biomedical engineering. Her dedication, hard work and passion for learning have already made an impression, and we know she has an incredibly bright future ahead.

We are proud to continue supporting students like Maddix as they chase big dreams and work toward making a difference in the world. Congratulations, Maddix! We can't wait to see all you accomplish! 💚
