We are very excited to host the 2026 Small Business Expo as we kick off the U.S Small Business week and also celebrate our 13th Anniversary at Diversity Mixers.

Here are some important details for our guests today:

-5-4-2026 / 4-7pm / DoubleTree Hilton - 701 Penn Street, Reading, PA
-Free to attend (no registrion needed) & Free parking in the hotel garage. Bring your license plate number for voucher.

Small Business Expo Partner Highlight: Finanta

Finanta is a private, independent non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) whose mission is to provide capital in places where it is not usually available. They seek to create positive change in the community by providing entrepreneurs with access to business development loans for projects that generate jobs, create affordable housing and help to revitalize communities. We're excited to share that we'll have FREE headshots provided by PhotOlé Photography at our Small Business Expo on Monday May 4th from 4-7pm. Slots are limited so make sure to register for the event and show up at 4pm.

As a reminder, we will have networking, resources (a rep from the US SBA will be present), small business expo, workshop on how A.I can help you grow your business, and we will wrap up the night at Cheers Bistro for a cocktail reception (cash bar).

Thanks to donations from Diversity Mixers, our Giving Tree at 838 is stocked!

To spread holiday cheer, our pediatric patients are invited to take a gift off the tree at the end of their appointment!

See you tonight at Genesius Theatre for our Holiday Mixer. Don't forget to bring some goodies for the Berks Community Health Center (BCHC). The Pediatric team at BCHC does a yearly giving tree for the children within all three of their service areas. Children who come in for a visit can choose an item before they leave. So let's help them out this year.

We're collecting the following items:
Toothbrushes - Gloves - Socks - Hats - Hair things such as scrunchies, ties, or barrettes - Matchbox cars - Balls - Small craft kits - Crayons - Diapers
