The Empire Group includes 5 companies: Empire Services, demolition, emergency response and excavation; Elk Environmental Services, emergency response, environmental remediation, waste management, lab packing & compliance training; Berks Transfer, waste disposal; Delaware Valley Contractors (DVC), a full-service trucking company; and Delaware Valley Utility Contractors (DVUC), directional drilling & utility repairs. Celebrating over 60 years of service, the Empire Group is powered by more than 200 dedicated employees and more than 400 pieces of equipment. founded Empire Wrecking Co., of Reading, PA. In 1972, the second generation became leaders of the company. Wh**ey's sons, Harry J. O'Neill III, President, & Todd M. O'Neill, Exec. Vice President, lead the Empire Group.
