Rector First Baptist Church Kids Ministry under the direction of Lisa Di**le assisted Rector Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Crystal Williams in planting flowers on Main Street for everyone to enjoy this spring and summer. Blossom & Vine at Three One Nine graciously donated the flowers to the Rector Area Chamber of Commerce.

Chambers members were honored today to join a larger number of Rector civic leaders to celebrate the grand opening of Summit Farm Supply and Hardware. This is great addition to the Rector business community.

What an amazing night to celebrate the city of Rector at the annual Rector Chamber of Commerce banquet. An overflow crowd enjoyed honoring local businesses and volunteers and were treated to an inspiring keynote by State Representative and Senator-elect Jeremy Wooldridge. Thanks to executive director Crystal Williams for organizing a special night for our community

Today’s the day!! Christmas Parade begins at 1:30 and Tour of Homes follows at 3. Still time to support the chamber in activities such as scholarships for RHS seniors. Several have asked and is fine to just pay at the door od the first house tou visit on the tour. It’s going to be a great day in Rector. Don’t miss out. Merry Christmas!!!

It’s Christmas time in Rector. The annual Rector Christmas Parade will be held Dec. 14th at 1:30 on the traditional parade route in Rector. Make plans to attend and to get a spot in the parade contact Mark or Lindsey Manchester.

Rector Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the Christmas Tour of Homes Dec 14 from 3 pm-5 pm. Tickets are currently on sale by contacting chamber board members or the Rector Chamber Office and Rector Elementary School. The chamber will also give away $250 to one lucky winner who makes it to all three homes. Please join us in kicking off the Christmas season with three beautifully decorated Rector homes.

What a great afternoon for the Rector Chamber of Commerce art show. The artwork was impressive and the turnout was excellent. There are some talented people in our area. Thanks to everyone who displayed their work.

Such a tough morning for our community with the loss of a historic building and business and damage to a business next door. Both businesses are active chamber members and we pray for them and stand ready to help in any way. So very proud of our firefighters and first responders and thankful for all the area departments that responded to assist. …AlwaysHome
