Blocks of pure beeswax. During honey harvest we do not allow any waste, especially when it comes to beeswax. We use a Cook and Beals as our wax melter. Each block weighing roughly 32-35lbs

The push to strip off our second round of honey in Wyoming has began. The second round of pulling is usually the best because the temperatures are higher and ranchers usually leave their last alfalfa cutting later to get higher tonnage yield. This allows the bees to get into some premium blossoms from the alfalfa.

Bees are looking big and healthy, after pulling we follow up with our beekeeping management of varroa mites by treating them. This treatment is a crucial in our beekeeping practices for the year. That's the main reason we bring the California Bee Team to execute this step to ensure the girls remain healthy.
