In **2026, 12 tow truck operators were killed after being struck while working roadway incidents.**

The weekend is here! If you plan to drink this weekend, plan your ride before you pour the first drink. Impaired driving is one of the leading causes of crashes we respond to, and far too many of them end in tragedy.

CHP Red Bluff will be out tonight (and every night) enforcing the law and looking for impaired drivers. Alcohol slows your reaction time and blurs your judgement. There is no "I'm fine" when you are impaired.

Call a sober driver, use a rideshare, or stay put. If you can't do it safely then don't drink!

No excuses, no second chances. Don't drink and drive.

I’m excited to announce that the doors are officially open at Eli’s Garage, located at 510 Luther Road in Red Bluff.
We are a full-service automotive repair shop and work on ALL makes and models — cars, trucks, gas, diesel, domestic and import.
From routine maintenance to the problems that aren't so routine, we offer:

Red Bluff CHP provided service to a driver who crashed on Highway 36 today.

We will continue to see showers the next few days. Wet roads + unsafe speeds don’t mix well. This is a reminder to slow down and drive to arrive!
