From Roadway Striping to Specialized Pavement Markings! Take a look at D.E. Gemmill, Inc. crews in action on the Walnut Street improvement project!

This project brought together our pavement marking teams:

🚛 Long Line Striping/CDL Paint Truck Operators – Roadway lane lines and traffic markings.

🚧 Short Line Striping/Pavement Marking Installation – Including preformed thermoplastic, hot-applied thermoplastic, crosswalks, bicycle lane markings, green MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) and other specialized pavement markings.

From installation to the finished roadway, these photos highlight the teamwork, equipment, and expertise that go into improving roadway safety and supporting community infrastructure.

🚨 OCTOBER 17 | NATIONAL MOVE OVER DAY

Every day, highway crews, public works employees, emergency responders, tow operators and other roadside workers perform their jobs just feet from moving traffic.

For our own D.E. Gemmill highway crews, working alongside live traffic is part of the job. National Move Over Day is an important reminder that every driver can help protect the people working to keep our roadways safe.

When approaching roadside workers, work vehicles or emergency responders:

D.E. Gemmill is proud to recognize Chyann, a member of our Thermoplastic Crew and a Specialist (SPC) in the Army National Guard, as she prepares to deploy to Africa.

Chyann joined the D.E. Gemmill team in July 2026 and has quickly become a valued member of our crew. We are grateful for her service and commitment and wish her a safe and successful deployment.
