Other than Daffer Feedyard we wrapped up HMC 2024. This year with drier conditions and knocking on 90° days it was a challenge keeping machines cool under a constant grind. Improvements were made to machines to get more bushels per hour and it showed. We cannot thank our team enough for working long days and well into the nights along with grinding hay. Thank you Royce, Reese, Jay and Ely for all the hard work to make this harvest a success and thank you customers for another year of corn grinding! Cheers to 10 years next weekend 💪🏻🍾🍻🥂🥃

Little late but HMC 2023 went about as smooth as we could hope for being a little short on help. Machines performed great for customers and kept the farmers busy in the fields. Already making plans and improvements for next year 🌽🌽

What a hot, windy, dry year. One of the most challenging years for our areas farmers & cattle producers that I hope doesn’t bleed into 2023. It backed every producer into a corner of tough decisions and was just a battle all year. We battled extreme heat so much that caused devastating fires to all of our communities. Years like this just prove we live in some of the best communities anyone could ask for. We hope 2023 brings all customers ample amount of rain and snow. HMC 2022 wasn’t a walk in the park this year but our team got it done again. Plenty of variance in too wet or too dry corn and breakdowns. Thankfully it was a safe harvest and hoping that dry corn will be the same for everyone in our communities.

For any one with saved hay or any donations of hay that will be brought in. If we can centralize hay drop offs and feed trucks we can grind at numerous locations to people needing to get feed to livestock and feed trucks can shuttle ground hay from anywhere we can get our grinders in and out. If livestock are needing to be shipped out we also can make pen space available at Daffer Feedyard!
