Something doesnā€™t have to be obviously bad or wrong before youā€™re allowed to stop choosing it.

Misalignment can look perfectly ā€œgoodā€ from the outside.

You knowā€¦ things like:

The job offer.
The on-again, off-again relationship.
The invitation you feel like you should accept.
The opportunity that looks too good to turn down.

Sometimes the question is simply: Does this belong in the life Iā€™m designing?

šŸ“ Plan the work and work the planā€¦ yeah, until life has other plans!

Iā€™ve learned that just because the plan changes doesnā€™t mean the decision has to. Thatā€™s when itā€™s time to adjust the plan around what youā€™ve already decided matters. šŸ‘ŠšŸ¾

Usually I would say, ā€œScrew it, Iā€™ll start tomorrow.ā€ But lately Iā€™ve been practicing adjusting instead of ditching the decision just because I canā€™t follow the ā€œperfectā€ plan.

So throw on a good playlist and get after it! Be fierce enough to start from where you are and keep practicing what matters.

Iā€™ve had a lot of girl time lately, and thereā€™s something really special about watching the women you love decide what they want for their lives, be fierce enough to make room for it.

Iā€™ve watched friends bring ideas to life, try something new, change course, protect what matters to them, and go after things theyā€™ve talked about wanting for years.

I love that because your Something Amazing doesnā€™t have to look amazing to anyone else. It just has to matter to you.

So excited!!!šŸ˜†

Itā€™s my RESET day, and for the last six weeks Iā€™ve been battling some serious paralysis by analysis.

Today, though, I decided to just do it, and start sharing the messy middle between building and finishing something that is really important to my core.

Some of you already know Iā€™ve been working on a manuscript for years. This picture is the first draft that was finally ready for beta readers back in July! It is so unreal to actually hold your thoughts in your hands but also exactly what makes this journey so tangible!

So for this RESET, I finally decided what Iā€™m protecting for the second half of my Fierce Focus Era: giving this book a real chance at getting published.

Whether that ends up being traditional publishing or the self-publishing route, Iā€™m going to share the journey as I figure it out and protect the time to make it happen.

Who knows how the story will end šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø Iā€™m just really excited to finally share it.

For now, the working title is Practice Your Perfect, a book about designing your life ON purpose.

As always, if you have something youā€™ve been working on, dreaming about, or maybe just havenā€™t given a real chance yet, come practice with me.

Iā€™ll be using my Fierce 90 each day to protect the time, and every Sunday Iā€™ll ACT: Align, Check the Map, Take Action, to make sure Iā€™m still practicing what I decided matters.
