🐝 Beecasso has made it to Nashville!

Check out this huge colony we recently removed from inside a wall in Nashville, Tennessee. What looked like a small entrance from the outside was hiding a massive amount of bees and comb inside the structure. 🍯🐝

We opened the wall, removed the bees for relocation, removed all of the comb and hive material, cleaned and treated the cavity, and sealed everything back up.

We’re still busy removing bees throughout Los Angeles and Southern California — and we’re now bringing Beecasso live bee removal to Nashville and Middle Tennessee too!

A full live bee removal from start to finish 🐝

This colony was living inside a fallen tree limb, so we carefully opened the hive, removed the bees and comb, and preserved their brood.

Then we moved the colony into one of our custom-painted bee boxes and relocated them to a safe new home where they can continue to grow and thrive.

Live bee removal isn’t just about getting bees out—it’s about giving the entire colony a second chance. 🐝

This was a BIG one. 🐝🏠

We opened up the wall beside this chimney in Los Angeles and uncovered a massive established honeybee colony hidden inside.

After carefully removing the comb and exposing the colony, the best part was watching the bees march into their relocation box together. 🐝🐝🐝

The bees were safely removed and relocated, and the wall cavity was cleared so they couldn’t simply rebuild in the same space.

🐝🎨 “Beewiser” is just about finished!

Here are the before and after photos.

Not only do I save honeybees and relocate them to a Beecasso Sanctuary, I’m also an artist. This is one of my newest paintings, created to represent the bees and the inspiration they continue to bring into my life.

This colony had completely taken over the inside of this wall! 🐝😳

After removing a section of the siding, we found thousands of honeybees covering a large, established hive — comb, brood and bees packed into the wall cavity.

We carefully removed the colony alive for relocation, removed all of the comb and cleaned out the cavity so it could be properly closed back up.

They’d definitely made themselves at home in there. 🐝🏠

You never know what’s hiding under there… 🐝

We opened up this section and found an established honeybee colony tucked away underneath, complete with layers of natural comb.

The bees were carefully removed live and relocated, then we removed the remaining comb, cleaned and treated the area.

Pretty amazing what they can build completely out of sight.

🐝 What was hiding inside this stucco column?

From the outside, there wasn’t much to see — just honeybees repeatedly entering through a small opening in the stucco.

Once we carefully opened the column, we found a fully established colony with multiple sheets of honeycomb hidden inside the structure.

This is why we don’t recommend simply sealing an active bee entrance. The opening may be tiny, but behind it can be thousands of bees, brood, honey and wax.

For this Los Angeles removal, we carefully accessed the colony, removed the live bees and comb, cleaned out the cavity, and closed the structure back up.

Whenever possible, our bees are safely captured and relocated. 🐝💛

🐝 Look what we found hiding under these roof tiles!

This established honeybee colony had built an incredible amount of comb completely out of sight beneath the roof.

Our team carefully opened the area to access the hive, removed the bees and honeycomb, and prepared the colony for relocation. 🐝🍯

👑 The Queen Has Been Found. 🐝

This is one of the most important moments in a live bee removal.

After carefully opening the colony, we located and safely secured the queen in a queen clip. Once she’s protected, the rest of the colony naturally follows her, allowing us to relocate thousands of honeybees together instead of exterminating them.

Every live removal gives these incredible pollinators a second chance while safely removing them from homes and businesses.
