When your toddler is screaming because you cut the banana “wrong,” refusing to leave the park, or hitting because you said no, it can feel like nothing you do is working.

But very young children aren’t giving you a hard time on purpose. Their brains are still learning how to tolerate frustration, shift between activities, and recover when something doesn’t go their way.

In the hardest moments, the goal isn’t to find the perfect words or immediately stop the feeling. It’s to slow yourself down enough to help your child feel safe while holding the boundary.

Connect before you correct. Regulate before you explain. Teach when both nervous systems are calmer.

You don’t need to parent perfectly. You need support, repair, and room to begin again.

You’re exhausted. The baby needs you again. Your partner says the wrong thing—or doesn’t notice what needs to be done—and suddenly you’re furious.

Postpartum resentment doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful or that something is wrong with your relationship. Sleep deprivation, hormonal changes, constant caregiving, and carrying the mental load can leave very little room between feeling overwhelmed and reacting.

A pause won’t fix an unequal workload. But it can help you understand what you’re feeling, identify what you need, and speak from that place when you’re ready.

Small pauses can create meaningful shifts in connection. And if everything feels harder than you expected, you’re not alone.

Feeling stuck on a decision? 🤍

Here's our 7-step Mindful Decision-Making framework - from pausing and noticing the anxiety, to trusting yourself once you've chosen.

You don't have to decide everything right now. You're allowed to choose what's best for you and your family. 🌿

Motherhood isn't about doing it perfectly—it's about meeting each season with compassion, flexibility, and grace. 💛 Radical acceptance helps us let go of "how it should be" so we can be more present for ourselves, our babies, and the life we're building together.

✨ Reflective Practice Group for Supervisors — Pilot Cohort ✨

Some of you may have seen me posting about this over the past couple of months—and I’m now moving toward finalizing the first pilot cohort.
I’m gathering a small group of supervisors (and therapists preparing to supervise) who are craving a place to slow down, reflect, and be held in the work.
Hold the Space is a monthly reflective practice group centered on:🌀 presence over performance🌀 process over productivity🌀 connection over fixing
This is not a training or a lecture. It’s a reflective container grounded in relational supervision, parallel process, and nervous system awareness.

🗓️ Logistics
🕰️ Monthly | 60 minutes📅 Second Monday of each month, 5–6 PM🚀 Begins January 26⏳ 10-month commitment💵 $100/month, billed in 3-month cycles👥 Limited to 5 clinicians

🌱 This space is especially supportive for:
✨ Experienced supervisors wanting a deeper reflective space✨ Therapists new to supervision or preparing to step into the role✨ Clinicians who value slowing down and learning in relationship✨ Folks who can realistically protect this time once a month

🚫 This group is not a fit for:
– Drop-in or occasional consultation– Skill-only or directive supervision– Anyone who can’t commit to the time right now

If you’ve been feeling curious but unsure, this is your gentle nudge as I close enrollment and confirm the group.
Comment “Interested” or send me a message, and I’ll reach out to schedule a brief 15-minute call to see if this group is the right match.
