Millions of people live with diabetes, and continued investment in research, education and care can make a real difference in their lives.

That’s what the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure helps support, bringing people together to ride, raise funds and build awareness.

October is Equinix Impact Month, and this year’s theme, Show Care, is about turning that care into action. For nearly seven years, Tour de Cure has been one of the ways employees, friends and family across Equinix have done that, helping raise more than $600,000 for the American Diabetes Association.

This year, the team is working toward its annual $100,000 fundraising goal.

Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure company®, today announced the appointment of DD Dasgupta as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Dasgupta has spent more than 25 years working in digital infrastructure, including networking, cloud, storage and security, with leadership roles at Cisco, Juniper Networks, HP and Avi Networks. For the past two years, he's led Equinix's product and solution marketing.

The appointment comes as businesses move their AI projects out of testing and into everyday use, connecting with more cloud and AI partners along the way.
