We've been in sealcoating mode this week, so I thought I'd share a little about how we like to seal asphalt.
We prefer applying the seal with a squeegee rather than spraying it on. While both methods have their place, here are a few reasons we believe the squeegee method provides a better finished product:
* More consistent coverage across the entire surface.
* Works the sealer into the pavement's pores, helping improve adhesion.
* Helps fill minor surface imperfections for a smoother finish.
* Reduces overspray, so nearby landscaping, buildings, and vehicles are better protected.
* Creates a rich, uniform appearance that looks great and helps protect your asphalt from the sun, water, and everyday wear.
