Hello!

I wanted to touch base with my clients and potential futures!

Since going back to work after covid shut down, I have been trying to balance and figure things out. As everything is different now.

One thing being the ability to get my PPE, even gloves at a reasonable price and consistently.

The next thing, and the biggest is my schedule. I know most of you are bi weekly cleans. And I am so thankful for that work.

However, with me not being able to bring my three year old any more due to restrictions on my insurance becasue of covid, I am finding it hard to balance how to be gone for 10 hours a day.

Because if I am, then I need child care for her, or I have to leave her with my older kids. Oldest being 13.

My normal “pre covid” schedule was two cleans a day, and about 10 hours of work a day. But I can NOT ask my older kids to be home and raise her for 10 hours a day. We also will never use a child care provider again, so that’s not an option either.

Which leaves me to the conclusion that I will only be able to do one clean a day for the foreseeable future. (Until insurance eases back up).

But this causes some set backs for you clients. Meaning instead of biweekly most of you would be pushed to every three weeks for a clean.

I have had a lot of anxiety about this decision. And feeling guilty about letting down so many clients is terrifying. But it’s just the current situation!

And the only control I do have over it, is trying to make it work the best that I can.

So I will be personally PMing my clients to see if this works out alright for them, and if so, figuring that out with them. And if not, I understand and I’m so sincerely sorry for the inconvience.

Thank you for understanding and being kind to me!

TLC’s Tuesday Tips!

I am going to start posting cleaning tips and tricks every Tuesday! To help your cleans last longer in between each service!

Today’s tip: Make a disinfectant. Keep it on hand, under your sink or on your sink counter. So it’s handy and convientant. Be sure to wash your hands after every use. ❤️💪🏾👌

And with covid-19 along with all the other normal germs, this is a great one to start with. Also super easy and much better for your lungs then the store bought cleaners out there!

Who doesn’t love when you know exactly what is in a product that you are using!!??

Happy Tuesday!

Alright peeps!

I just finally got SOME of the supplies I need for getting back to work!

I will be working on schedule and clients Monday. So be on the look out for texts from me over the next few days.

Like I said, things will be different. I can only get one client in a day for now. (Because of having to take time in between to sanitizing me and supplies).

Hoping after I get the hang of it I can get back to two a day cleans.

So bare with me!

But this is happy news!

All new supplies! And ready to get back to it.

Wanted to drop a note to my clients again today. I know some cleaning businesses and women are up and running and back to work and have been for a few weeks now in residential areas.

However I am not. Not only because of covid-19 and the risk to others, but because I myself was sick for 2 weeks and I am still recovering cough wise with covid-19. I also believe in the Stay at Home order that’s been in place and is currently. Especially for work such as in home cleaning. It’s not essential as much as I know many of you tired mamas want it to be. I believe it can wait until things are a little more understood and controlled and soft opens are happening. Because I know the risk and what the sickness is. It’s awful! Worst sickness I have ever had.

Along with being certified I HAVE to follow a lot of guidelines that make it almost to much of a hassle for me and my in home clients to even start up if I wanted to. So until the stay at home is lifted, and soft opens have happened I will not be returning to homes to clean that have been occupied within 14 days prior to a clean.

Even once the stay at home is lifted I will have things I need to follow the biggest one being no one can be home while I’m there at all. Either when I arrive, during, or leave. No contact. So be prepared and aware of this inconvenience as well.

I also am having a hard time finding supplies, protective and cleaning, that allows me to come back to home cleanings. Things to protect me and you. I feel guilty trying to get these things as well when other more needed workers require these items.

Also be aware that I have kiddos home now 24/7 who need schooling still. Another reason starting back up now, almost can’t happen.

Please be patient and aware and gracious as I figure this out. I will be putting a June schedule together and the first to get actual dates will be those clients who have invested in gift cards, as they are paid ahead for their spots.

If there are specific days that work best please message those to me as I will be working on this schedule the coming week and this will help as well. I will try to keep it as close to the old schedule but I’m also human and with needing more time for sanitization of myself and equipment entirely in between each clean, I am not positive how well it is all going to come together for times and days and getting it all in. Aghhhh!

I do know not every client that was in my rotation is going to get in the first few weeks. Because of time needed in between each clean, my time needed at home, and a lot of the requirements I will now have to follow.

I’m appreciate your support and kindness through this all! I am doing my best to get back to you! It’s just all different now.

Thank you,

Hey friends!

I have had a few peeps message me asking when I think I will be returning to in home and commercial cleans!

At this time I still have no idea on a date! And won’t know until closer to the end of May.

I am certified in sanitation and have certain guidelines I need to follow in order to keep that. It’s a lot and honestly makes it almost total chaos right now. Please bare with me.

If you are wanting to start back up with your cleans in the beginning of June when things are hopefully lifted, please message me via FACEBOOK, messenger, or text 608-495-2756 (my original TLC phone number is not activated right now until we are back up in running, in order to save on expenses that are not needed during this time). This number listed above is our other phone and I will reply to your texts on that!

I am asking that ONLY my clients that were previously with me and on the schedule response to this as of now. I want to ensure they are taking care of first m before adding any new cleans or clients to the schedule!

We appreciate you and thank you for all your support during this!

Cleaned my oven, thought I’d give you all an update!

Can’t wait to tackle yours once I am back in full swing! ❤️💯

And, I didn’t kill my lung to do it! Bonus, when I go to cook something again in this oven, the chemicals from cleaning it won’t kill me...because I didn’t use any! 💯👌❤️

Mind you there are still stains on the oven, because when we first moved in it hadn’t been cleaned and looked worse then my first picture. This is also why you shouldn’t let it get to the point of my first picture. The longer you wait and let it build up the less you are able to get off and the more it stains and ruins the oven.

Want to know something...I took this picture of my egg muffins to show how fluffy they were. Then realized I should crop it because my oven is grosssssss!!!

Then was like ummmm...this is real life. The last thing I have time for is cleaning my oven. I cook two to three times a day using this beast and I’ve had no time to clean it. And honestly it’s on my list, but might be the last thing to get done.

Your cleaning lady has a dirty oven...there you’ve seen it.

Now stop apologizing for “how dirty or crazy” your house is when I come clean for you! Because honestly, mine is no different. ❤️

Ps. Also don’t do this...it’s so bad for your oven! Don’t be a Taren! (If you are my client chances are I keep an eye on these things, but if I haven’t, when I get back I’ll be sure to check everyone’s! 😂 especially since we have all been playing lunch lady for the last four weeks!)

So as of today, We are closing the residential part of TLC Services. We are still operating the commercial clean side of things, but in home service is no longer available right now.

What this means for us at TLC Services is...a lot of emotions!

We are so very grateful for the support and love from each of our clients!

We are so sincerely sorry!

We are doing our part to slow the spread of this nasty virus and so we feel it’s best to stop the residential services for now.

This wasn’t an easy decision. We hope and pray for our clients and their families and their health. We pray that when this is all over we can pick right back up and continue to provide you all with some TLC! I’m sure everyone will need it after this!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!

We are offering gift certificates to be used after this is all done. We will offer $25 GC and you can purchase as many as you’d like, and use them once we start your service back up.

Again we are so sorry to have to make this decision and to have let some of you down by closing. I am very emotional about it all. But we appreciate all of you!

THANK YOU!

I want to take a moment to thank our clients for the love and support, that you are now and always have given us!

We understand this is a tough time for most!

We are still going to homes and businesses and cleaning and will continue to do so as long as we are able.

However if you do not feel comfortable with continuing and you would like to postpone your cleans until further notice we totally understand.

We also ask that if you feel even slightly sick that you continue to do what we have always done, just cancel and reschedule for another time. We want to keep everyone healthy that we are still able to clean for and do our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19 if we can.

We will continue to do our best for you! We appreciate your support and care! You all mean so much to us!

Take care, stay healthy, and keep POSITIVE as best you can!

Sincerely,
TLC Services
