This is a manual mill, and trust me, it pushes easily.
This mill is built with 4"x2" steel rectangular tubing for increased rigidity and minimal flexing.
It is powered by a 6 to 6.5-horsepower engine.
It comes standard with 4 log supports and log dogs for holding the log in place while cutting. Each dog has a tall and short dog, and can be used for squaring the log. Both sides are fully adjustable to fit most any shape or size log.
You can cut a log as short as 3’6" for that high-dollar specialty wood.
You can cut 2-sided logs, 3-sided logs, or square timber.
Frame extensions of 10' can be added if you need more than 20'.
The band wheels are 20" in diameter. I use 1x1/4"x 7/8"x 13' 2" blades.
Our mill can cut beveled siding with a simple pull of a lever, and no add-on is necessary.
The track bearings and blade guide bearings are the same and can be bought at Napa or any local bearings supply.
It is a very simple mill to operate and maintain.
You can put a 28" log on the frame, and it will cut at least 24" wide and 22" high with a length of 16'6" with the standard 20' frame. It is cut to a thickness of 1". The smallest cut so far has been 3/16".
Adjustable blade guides on the sawmill provide superior blade stability for straight, precise cuts.
It is ready to cut when you get it home.
Nothing to bolt together out of a box.
Extensions of 10ft are also available for an additional cost.
It's very easy to run. Two people can easily unload it and set it up.
The Gen 3 mill that can be broken down into 10' sections for hauling in a boat, the back of your pickup, or towing behind your side-by-side to your remote property. While essentially the same, the mill has been modified for easy disassembly and one-person handling.
It costs a little more because it takes more time to build it. Please inquire about the price. There’s a basic price, and extensions are separate.
I can custom-build a mill for you or add things that you want if needed.
We can add a trailer kit to the mill, depending on what your
preferences are, but we have not yet because we are trying to keep the cost down so people can afford to buy the mill. It's not that heavy btw!!
We can build the saw of your dreams at a reasonable price. Even a mini saw if you’d like one.
