Join us in celebrating Sarah, who has been part of the Help at Home team for almost a year and brings years of caregiving experience to her role! After 20 years in the medical field, she chose to transition into home care because she wanted to build more meaningful connections with patients. What she finds most rewarding is the special bond she forms with each client and the joy of being a companion in their lives. Sarah believes that great caregivers are kind, attentive, and proactive, always taking initiative and putting their hearts into what they do. She emphasizes the importance of listening to clients, respecting their wishes and boundaries, and learning their individual needs so she can anticipate how to best support them. For Sarah, caregiving is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to make a genuine difference through compassion, connection, and personalized care. 🌟Meet Moriah, our Caregiver of the Month!🌟

Moriah has been part of the Help at Home family for almost a year, bringing many years of private-duty caregiving experience with her. Her journey into caregiving began when she became a nanny for a family whose senior mother lived with them. As she began helping care for her, Moriah discovered how much she loved caregiving and supporting others.

What she finds most rewarding is building trusting relationships with her clients and their families. Moriah believes that being dependable, asking questions, and learning how each client prefers things to be done are key to providing truly personalized care. She also reminds fellow caregivers that while in-home caregiving can sometimes feel like you’re on your own, support is always available—you just have to reach out.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor their memory by caring for one another, supporting our communities, and never forgetting the strength that can be found in compassion and togetherness.
