Our biggest wins are the ones we get to share.

Our team recently visited Sen. F. C. Zulueta Elementary School in Iloilo, Philippines, where we saw students light up over something many of us take for granted: a working computer.

Through Valoroo Cares, we donated computers, air conditioning units, a projector, tables, chairs, and other essentials, giving the classroom a full makeover and a better learning environment for these students.

Thank you to our leaders Nick Schrock, Michelle Schrock, CPIM, MBA and Toni Sinfuego for supporting this project, and to everyone who helped make it happen, especially our Onboarding Team headed by Ailene Vechavez for organizing the day from start to finish.

For us, it was a day of giving. For these students, we hope it's the start of something brighter.

Intermodal volume growth has accelerated into double digits in recent weeks. Carriers leaning into it are learning fast that it isn't truckload ops with a different box.

Ramp scheduling, dray coordination, and transload exceptions all need their own workflow — and a team that's used to managing truckload doesn't automatically know how to manage that.
The carriers scaling into intermodal well are building ops support for it specifically, not bolting it onto the truckload team.

The load doesn't wait for business hours to go sideways.

It goes sideways at 7pm on a Thursday — and nobody's watching until Friday morning. By then the customer's already called twice, and the carrier's already found someone else to blame it on.

Most brokerages don't lack people. They lack someone watching the hours nobody wants to staff.

EDI exceptions spike when the market gets volatile.

Manual workarounds handle 10 a day just fine. They don't hold up at 50.
That's when chargebacks start slipping through — not because anyone missed something obvious, but because there wasn't enough attention to go around.
