I'm so excited! I just launched a new website for Curlture Salon. They do AMAZING work with curly hair. 🥰💇‍♀️

To all my sisters out there who have been fighting the friz, the team at Curlture Salon has the answer. 👏👏

I've been loving my hair consistently since I took a spin in the salon chair of the amazing Co-owner Lydia Carpenter about 6 months ago. She taught me how easy it can be to style your hair at home and have it look like you just came from the salon.

I had no idea I was drying out my hair by using "conditioners" and other products that actually make hair dry, dull, damaged and brittle. Now that I'm properly hydrating my hair and caring for it, my curls have never been bouncier or more luscious.

I'm so glad I drove all the way from Reno to Santa Rosa where they're located. Believe me the results are worth it. I'll be happy to share before and after photos when I get back from my week-long trip.

Yesterday I ran my first marathon with my wonderful friend Krista McDonald — just because.

We’ve been training for marathons we’ve signed up for in January & February. Yesterday was the day we decided to prove to ourselves we could do it.

We were only supposed to run 13 miles according to the training schedule. However that morning, Krista said, “People create limitations by underestimating what they’re capable of. Let’s run a marathon today.”

“Heck yeah!” I said. “Let’s do this.” 👏😆

“You were supposed to say no,” she said laughing. 🤣
Needless to say we ran a marathon.
