Our work is an important component of our personal identity. Our job gives us the means to work. A job gives us the means to enhance our sense of personal worth. If not, we either find our identity elsewhere and keep the job, or we find a job that does. Perhaps that is why 41% - 95% of the workforce is considering changing jobs, according to studies from Microsoft and Monster.
